OK, I was able to figure out if i held the reset button it would restart the nav module, I was not able however to successfully trigger a black screen. Would the head unit power have anything to do with triggering this screen?

It does not have a SD card, at one point in time I was able to update via a USB mini to USB A cord attached to my computer.
skippinonthebay Reviewed by skippinonthebay on . Sony XNV-660BT Info Super noob here. I am just looking to update my maps if possible. I have a Sony Head unit with a detachable Tom Tom GPS. It is a DJ serial number. It will only connect to Mydrive, not recognized by Home. Active maps of US & Canada V 8.80. I saw everywhere that first step should be to back it up. When I plugged it in to my computer (Windows 10) it did not recognize it as something with storage but rather a usb device. Probably a losing battle but I was looking if it would even be Rating: 5
