For testing the device to prevent a low battery you can use a power bank.
With a GL1 gps chip you have to install the treysis-fix on every used NC (so also with option 2 from #2). After this your device should find satellites after 1-3 minutes and show the correct time after another minute.
You can avoid the long time until the satellites are found after starting from standby with a suicide.dat.
Use the editor to create a file suicide.txt with the entry 5. Rename this file to suicide.dat and copy it to the root of the ONE2nd.
After switching off, you only have to wait 5 seconds every time before switching on the ONE2nd again and you have no problems with the satellite finding.Alfred_ML Reviewed by Alfred_ML on .
