TomTom XL Canada 310 4et0.002.03r
I have a question concerning my TomTom. The TomTom starts as usual, however as soon as I enter an adress and it searches for GPS the navigation reboots itself. Please give me some more details.
What are the frist 2 digits of the serial number (see on bottom)?
How big is the internal memory and can you put a SD card in it?
What navcore do you use?
Do you use a self activated map and, if yes, did you patch your navcore?
Sometimes this happens if you have a new map and you put the old mapsetting.cfg file in it. So try to take that temporarily out the map folder and se what happens.

serial number GJ615
internal memory 2gb, and it's not possible to insert a SD card
I tried navcore 9510 as well as 9485, for both the same scenario
I did patch my navcore
I tried you suggestion, however it didn't solve the problem

What map do you use? How full is your memory, I how much is still free?
If there is to little free memory, you should try an other smaller map.
You could try a clearflash to clear your flash memory. You find it
It is also interesting to try other navcore's, Search over

The last option I know, try to download the map from a other location.
Maybe it is corrupt.
Or try an other map. As a start Benelux (very small)
Europe_zone_3 is also interesting (quite big but you can delete some files)

@frak123: Your XL IQ Routes (GL) should get the latest NC 9.541 (customized for your device) from TT (64 MB device). At first do "ClearFlash" like suggested, 3 times at minimum. Then make a backup of your XL IQ Routes (with a file-explorer, not TT-Home!). After that delete all files and folders on your device without the file "ttgo.bif". Connect your XL IQ Routes with TT-Home and let install NC 9.541. Patch this new NC, add missing folders like LoquendoTTS, sounds, voices and a activatible map to your XL IQ Routes. Activate the map. Suggested for downloading and activating maps and patching NC without errors is the tool TTActivator.
