As fredderf says, there's no advantage as you'd need to Manage Maps/Switch Maps then reroute etc at the end of each map anyway. The fewer, larger/contiguous maps the better. How about taking a couple of spare fully loaded MicroSD cards with your maps etc on?

Any advantages in multiple smaller maps?

biggerdave Reviewed by biggerdave on . Any advantages in multiple smaller maps? Thanks to the existence of this forum I have an ancient Rider 2nd Ed running Navcore 9.5 with a boot loader that allows my rock to recognise a 32GB SD card. I'm heading from Europe to Africa shortly and trying to anticipate a bunch of 'what if?' situations. Question is: is there any advantage to downloading a number of smaller area maps (eg Benelux, France, Iberia) over a larger map of Europe? Ditto Morocco, East, West, Middle, Southern, South Africa vs the big Africa? Once on the road my Rating: 5
