Look into your ttgo.bif. After a succesful flashing you must find these string (in case of 3.2.5, with 3.6.0 accordingly this string):
GPSFirmwareVersion=GSW3.2.5TT3-CRC32_3.3.01.06-C35P3.00
With this gps firmware, a Gox20 / 30/7000 always finds the satellites. Whether from standby or after a cold start (eg with suicide.dat or after reset). You don't need a filled folder "ephem" in the future. You can also delete the complete folder. Try it!
P.S: Your current NC (internal memory) has no influence on the flash process.Last edited by Alfred_ML; 23rd November 2019 at 10:21 PM.

Yes, that's exactly how it is. You no longer need to make a GPS quickfix. this is no longer necessary after the Sirf3 upgrade.

@ bovirus The device with IA as first two digits of the serial number is a NAV2 device!
@cual remember: don't fix what ain't broken!!
Do you really have problems with satellites connection?
By the way: I don't know how to do the correct update.
ALWAYS make a compleet backup before you change anything.

It's scary, the problem is that the carminate is built into the car and if something goes wrong it stays like a brick. Is there any way I can go back? to 3.2.4 in case it doesn't work?
Thank you for giving PeterHimself a little light the
Carminat is working and picking up the satellites, but when the quickfix time is up (around 5 days) it sometimes takes and sometimes it doesn't, for example when you arrive at a destination and arrived safely with the satellites and if you start again and don't take and all the way back is without taking them.
The problem is also that the Carminat does not have a reset button or a power off option other than by disconnecting the car battery. I don't know how to update it in case something goes wrongLast edited by biggerdave; 10th March 2021 at 12:51 AM. Reason: Please post in English!

@PeterHimself
Please rad carefully my post.
I wrote "NAV2 standalone" device (not only "NAV2").
And Carminat is not "NAV2 standalone" device.
