Never mind. Meta was available and correct map used, but fast activate just didn't want to make it working. Found out about TTActivator yesterday and gave it a try and it worked like a charm.
Strange because wasn't the first time I was using fast activate. It was my 4th map patch and everything done step by step, never had any issues until yesterday.
Anyway, it was this map:
- 333 MB
72 B4 E6 F0 8C 2C 38 DA 7A 41 4B 48 93 71 C5 F5 Australia-102065.meta ; Australia_1035_9669
And I had downloaded correct meta file and placed it in the folder.Last edited by kerberos; 10th November 2019 at 11:41 AM.

Possibly a problem with meta file and certainly I have discovered another strange behavior in the operation of Fastactivate.
When you start Fastactivate, the meta.txt update through option # 1, then option # 2 runs the patch, everything goes well.
Now the following, Fastactivate is started, updated the meta, but you have forgotten something and quit Fastactivate, changed something or added a file to it, if you then restart Fastactivate but do not do a meta update, everything will get a patch except the maps.
All this while it concerns the same meta.txt file, no matter how often you use option # 2 there, the tool refuses to patch the maps.
If you use option # 1 in the meantime, so an update for the already present update and therefore basically nothing changes, the maps will be provided with a patch.
Possibly that has been the case with the problem described above.
Maybe there is a volunteer who can reproduce my findings?
This to be sure that it is not my computer configuration that is causing the problem.

What I did was prepare the ad with all the necessary files, put fastactivate in the root, opens it, update fasteactivate, restart it, updAte meta, then click on patch map and it went straight onto DCT error. .meta file was correct, I even tried to redownload it again. Meta.txt was ok too, I comlared it with the online information for that map.
TTactivate picked it up with no issues and patched it. What’s the difference? Still same .meta file in the folder which was patched.

I have tried it with different fresh map twice.
Didn't have any speedcams or special voices
Before i ran Fastactivate deleted every meta.txt and updated meta.txt from the navcore.
After patch the map put the sd card in the TomTom and it was working .
