TT new edition V4 doesn't start without removing sd card
My TT won't start if I remove the charger/computer lead unless I remove the sd card and reinsert it and then it takes about 20 minutes to connect to a satellite.
Its been updated to the latest maps and activated, NC9.510.
When it does pick up a signal the directions seem to be about 400 yards out when coming to turnings.comuscomp Reviewed by comuscomp on . It maybe possibly because you do not have an up to date version of ttgo.bif file on your SD Card, so is possibly trying to boot from it and cannot. So then removing the card, it boots from the ttgo.bif file on your unit. Suggest you copy the latest version to the card. As for not powering on without connection to the power source suggests battery problem.
Taking so long to locate a satellite is probably because you have not followed the roll over news and updated according.
You have not mentioned whether you have Z1, Z2 or Z3 ONE New Edition (V4), but doubtful it is Z3, as would not boot up without the cardOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.
