Greetings, I've been the owner of a ONE XL for about 5 years now. It has the 1gb of internal memory, but this unit also has an SD slot. Just yesterday, I installed the 1005 version of Northern US/CAN map and it worked, but the map is so big that I have only 11 mbs of internal memory to spare. Sitting beside me is an 4GB SD card. Can I remove the tag covering the SD slot and just insert and everything will look after itself? Or will the slot have been deactivated from the Tom Tom assembly line and Im wasting my time. I'd like to think the spare SD slot would act like extra storage for data, like a phone, so any advice, or link I guess, though I'll probably struggle and ask a billion more questions, on how to do the bootloader would be appreciated. Thanks so much for any help.
