I finally got around to testing my old Go 710, which I updated with Navcore 9.051 a while back. That (eventually) got a GPS fix and showed the correct time, and gave an ETA on a short sample journey. This is the one that the TomTom site said "this will have problems, and we're considering a way to fix them". (With apologies if this is common knowledge somewhere in the 17-odd pages since I last posted).

Check too see if it still gets a satellite fix after a restart and also after 7 days as some sirf 3 chipset models (including my 720) are struggling getting a sat fix without regular quickgpsfix updates from TT Home.
