I tried that, unfortunately without success
Had been nice for my Rider v2
P.S.
The GPS fix Of course it stays that way an emergency solution, but still many times more convenient than with a card on your handlebarsLast edited by pe1agp; 2nd February 2020 at 09:04 PM.

there is a solution..
I have also 3rd Edition (Y2). Implemented the WNRO-patches on NC 9.510 BUT also the "suicide.dat" solution. (Alfred_ML"-owner")
There are some preconditions:
1. device starts every time with drum roll sound and the satfix is only realised outside a building or in the car within 2 a 3 minutes.
2. device powersupply should be switched off, before TT-device is swithced off.

Sounds interesting. Do you have a link to the right 9.510 navcore and to the needed patches?

Device: XL Black Edition 330.S (XL30) "Canada 310" / xl2008_t_2048_m_b / RVxxxxxxxxxx / 2Gb internal memory / Navcore 8.083 / 32 Mb RAM / GL2 chipset / Bootloader 5.5136
Got no official patch from TT Support so I've been trying to fix the WNRO / 0:00 clock problem with glgps and ttconv methods and got a positive result for a short period of testing but using an ancient Europe 995.8549 map (idk if this fix works permanently). So, now that I tried a fresh map of 1040 series that should be compatible with navcore (according to the chart) TT became totally unusable (started to jam, crash and boot randomly). Didn't try suicide.dat under assumption it's for GO series only. I'm afraid all this is due to poor navcore version and any sensible fix would include the navcore update which I'm hesitant to try since Sector Protection is set to Yes
Any thoughts or can someone walk me through this?

In my opinion it is best to simply abandon it and apply the simplest solution that suits you best.
I also have an old One XL, now with 9,510 for 32mb devices, I use the latest new maps on it, but unfortunately the clock stays at midnight.
I can live with that, the journey time is always well indicated and I arrive where I wanted to go.
What more do I want, indeed fast reception from the satellites, that I solve as much as possible by using QuickGPSFix.exe shortly before departure.
I also apply the same trick to my Rider v2
My GO 950 still works great in the car, although I am constantly tempted by TomTom to purchase a newer model at sometimes large discounts.
I just don't like it that they are going to determine how long that new one can last, nice earnings model to write off something, for example after about seven years while everything is still functioning properly.

One last question, because I think I'll give it up with my TT One 3rd edition (I lost a lot of time with searching since last year): how can I find out what are the last TT models where I have access to the root directory and where WNRO problem doesn't appear or is solved? I have actually a Start20 that is working perfect, but I want a model where I can make my own changes, like cams, poi's, additional software and so on.
Also I want to thank to all of you for your time and your help

Any GO with an SD slot and a Sirf Star.
But I'm quite sure, this one will be able to guide the right way, if you've the right files.
Mind your mailbox, please.
