treysis happy to provide you with the information requested and to collaborate in your inquiries, however it turns out that this morning after loading the device, thinking about the reset issue I reset first with the ttconv and then the device going through black screen and putting it in on and to take the satellites to work well, I understand that in this initial phase we will tread some stumble ... but it is great to have enthusiasts like you and others who are helping and lighting in the dark
I start working on what you say

Beautifully written, but completely wrong as far as the Go x20 / x30 / 7000 is concerned...The file glgps is only for a Go x40/50/9000 or Rider with a GL2-Chip. A Go x20/30/7000 with SirfStar can't use it...
@Lum4n4r3: In case of a Truck-NC and Gox20/30/7000 use a suicide.dat or make every few days a SatFix with PC or smartphone.
What is better and easier in practice, have to decide by you...Last edited by Alfred_ML; 19th June 2019 at 01:12 PM. Reason: typo

AFAIK PNDavigator decides to go sleeping and after sometime to shutdown.
The time between sleep and shutdown can be configured with suicide.dat.
(AFAIK)

@Alfred_ML and @Lum4n4r3
"use a suicide.dat or make every view days a SatFix with PC or smartphone"
It's wrong! Satfix is not required every day. On the other hand "suicide.dat" is obligatory at each start of the GPS. If you absolutely want to use "suicide.dat" rather than the other methods, but without systematically losing ± 3 mn at each start it is possible to replace it with its equivalent only in case of necessity, which saves a lot of time:
Simply unplug the GO x20/x30 from the power supply and press the reset button once. When restarting, the time is reset to 0:00 and the satellites are quickly found, just like after "suicide.dat".Last edited by Charlie62; 5th June 2019 at 12:06 AM.
