@biggerdave
I'm sorry! Since I'm also chatting with Alfred_ML in German on the Digital Eliteboard forum, I forgot to switch to English!

Hallo.
Suicide.dat is working 2 days tested, fast and safe. In a first time value was 90 and second option 5. Let me know if you have checked minor option please....like 0 or 1

You can also use a value of 1. It's only important to send the Go x20/30/7000 (with NC 9.702 and other) into deep sleep before next start. A value of 5 or 1 does not really matter in practice. But remember: Always turn off the power supply first, if connected! Best with the automatic switch-off option. If switch-off by hand, a value of 5 is better, to have enough time to cut the power supply before the suicide.dat becomes active.
If you pay attention to that all, you really don't need a GPsFix anymore..
Not today, not tomorrow and certainly not after a week...Last edited by Alfred_ML; 11th May 2019 at 03:43 PM. Reason: typo

I do not know if it will be relevant, but dsa8310 talked about an application (BlueDUN app) for downloading QuickGPSfix through android phones.
Original text of dsa8310:
How to set up BT/DUN networkingIn the x30 (25) mode:- add a (new) phone, with DUN capabilities; if the phone is already managed, trigger its wireless setup by selecting a TT menu item that requires networking, for example Weather.
- go through the wireless setup until manual configuration, if necessary; a ppp top folder will be created.
- check that QuickGPSfix works by watching the data traffic on phone; then switch to mode 24/37 with Skin Chooser.
If using the (trial, free)BlueDUNapp, started on an (Android) smartphone or tablet connected to the Internet, for emulation of DUN services, there is no need of setting up the wireless networking, just add the smartphone/tablet to the TT device.Modem CompatibilityBlueDUN
Note that thesetting should be enabled!Role of the Toggle GPRS button
GPRS & BT/DUN capable devices use theToggle GPRSbutton to switch cyclically between three states, GPRS/GSM, BT/DUN, and No Networking, while only two states are available to the BT-only devices, BT/DUN and No Networking.
