unfortunately your navcore didnt work for me with my 920 sirf 3 FFFF ,it did start with 0.00 and find satellites in 1-3 mins as you say but when i turned it off then on again straight away no sat fix like the other 9.702 navcores i have tried.
Dont know how yours restarts straight away with a sat fix and nobody elses but your lucky .

I have a go730 with the navcore truck that has the same problem that loses the gps signal, every time I turn it off (Load some bar but does not connect)
Any fix?

"Cold" start?
PS My old GO700 (NC 9.510, GPS SIRF-2) catches satellites in about 5 mins after "reset" via paperclip. If only switched off (via on/off button) - satellites are not lost (but obviously - battery is draining a bit).

Try this navcore.
It releases up to ± 37 MB of RAM (see below) and I never have any satellite problems with my GO x20, x30, x40 x50 and 9000.
N. B. The On/Off button does not really turn off the GPS, it puts it in standby. As soon as you reconnect the GPS to the cigarette lighter, to the 220V mains or to the USB port of a computer, it wakes up immediately and picks up the satellites in ± 30 seconds, even indoors. To extinguish it effectively just press briefly "Reset". The restart must then be done by pressing the On button and lasts longer, but it finds the satellites very quickly.
I did not put the "LoquendoTTS" and "voices" folders, because they contain French voices.
P. S. To update the position of the satellites, double-click on the executable file "QuickGPSfix_SiRFStarIII.exe" (x20, x30 and 7000) or "QuickGPSfix_GlobalLocate.exe" (x40, x50 and 9000) which is in the "ephem" folder.Last edited by Charlie62; 29th April 2019 at 07:00 AM.
