I've bought a 32GB card. As soon as it arrives I'll try to change the CID and post back.

I have acquired a card like simba, and I can attest that the CID change works on that type of cards with the richard button method.

I feel it does not work in Carminat Live
I do not have Carminat Live, I can not prove it.
Could it be a solution for Carminat Live?
friends who live near one another or mail to others, buy shared an SD Carminat Live, ebay,
buy the SD that I put in aliexpress to change the CID and with the changed CID, with "AOMEI Backupper Standard" or another program to clone the SD bought in ebay the ones bought in aliexpress,
in this way I think they would be identical to the SD bought on ebay.
Another cheaper solution could be, with "AOMEI Backupper Standard" or another program to clone the Carminat Live SD bought on ebay to another cheaper SD?

Samsung (or any other) CID changeable SD cards won't help you for Carminat Tomtom LIVE. It's not only about the CID, and only Chinese vendors who provides custom cid SD cards knows what else must be modified on SD registry chip for getting SD card to work in Carminat Live.

Like some of you, I found myself needing to customize the CID of a Micro SD card. I chose to find a manufacturer that has changeable CID's and work out how to set them myself. I bought 100 of them because the vendors only really want to sell in bulk. Now I have 99 extra, brand new 32GB Micro SD cards and can customize the CID's to whatever you want. I am in the US so I can change the CID and ship them same day, thus domestic shipping times could be next day depending on your need.

DM me if you can help me find a home for the 99 extra cards I don't need.
