I tend to agree with you; if he hasn't even got the common decency to at least "thank" ANYONE who's suggested things here or elsewhere and not bothered to reply anywhere; then, sod him!

...AND the cheeky git's on this forum as I write this too!
biggerdave Reviewed by biggerdave on . TomTom XL very slow to copy in it Hi, It's been 2 hours that I try to copy a map (400 MB) to my TomTom XL and it's not over yet. It has copied copied 190 MB. Do you have an idea how can I activate this copy? Is there a reset on this device? Regards Rating: 5

Many thanks for your answer Alfred, I did more or less the same with my GO 910, but soldering wasn't necessary, just only a gap in the body was needed.
I know it's not possible with every One, I've an old One too, with PB as the first two characters, TomTom tell me TomTom ONE 125 with just only 1GB
As far as I know, nobody succeeded yet to modify this model ?

You have this "One 125 1GB (V8, One30 series)". To my knowledge are memory extension instructions only aviable for ONE-3rd (only the 512MB version, not the 1 GB!) and some ONE XL, but not for these One30/40 series. And of course the HD-replacements for Go 700 and Go 910.
