Hello the Maverick,
I have not made a final decision, but intend to buy TT for 3 reasons:
• Lifetime Maps (World) because I am interested in the map of Europe and Israel.
• TomTom Traffic via built-in SIM
• Lifetime Speed Cameras
I contacted TomTom support who told me that the Israel map is included in the World Maps. However, when I consult the , Israel is not there.
Since you have a TT GO 5200. May you be kind to check and confirm that you can download the map of Israel?
Also, does TomTom Traffic and Speedcams work for the whole world, including Israel?
Best Regardscoukou Reviewed by coukou on . SOME Advice if a new TomTom stops or does do unexpected things If on the first journey of over 20 miles you get an advert appearing. Do not worry, and it may have been fixed now. All you need to do is cancel the current route, then reset the route. If you do not it will reappear for all short routes until you cancel a route. If you find suddenly that you cannot load a map or you are getting lack of traffic link, or speedcam download. Or it says connect via wifi/usb when you know it is correct. Well it isn't. Doing a soft reset with not sort it out. Rating: 5

Yes, I have a GO5200, which is similar to the 5100 but with WiFi (the only advantage is that is you do not need a PC to link with, but it really is better if you have)
Yes it includes Israel which is currently v1000.8633. Probably be updated on Tuesday this coming week to v.1005
Routes work for Israel, but I am not aware of speed cams there. One way to check would be to look at and search a route between Intercontinental Aqaba Resort, King Hussein Street, Aqaba 2311 Jordan and Amirey Hagalil Boutique, Near Amirim Village Upper Galilee, Amirin 2011500 Israel.
Traffic works in many countries in the world, though I do not see any in Israel. Perhaps not have Vodafone links there (do not know). Certainly works in some places in India. Not aware of speed cams listed on TT site for either. Seems to be only for European Continent, the Americas, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, and SingaporeOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.
First time update Motorrad V
Can the PC see the device in Explorer USB...
