Did you input the postcode (correctly) without spaces? If so then most probably TT's just not bothered to update their postcode data although there's no excuse cos Royal Mail update their main database either weekly or monthly (I've forgotten which)
biggerdave Reviewed by biggerdave on . Which Navcore/Map combination gives optimum performance on "Retired" Tomtom One XL machines? Hi All, My Tomtom One XL is one of the many devices "retired" by Tomtom on 15th November 2016 (Changes to maps and services updates for older devices (http://tinyurl.com/ybg5hexg)) as being too old to keep updating so I cannot officially buy new maps any more (but I am allowed to pay a lot of money for a new device). My Tomtom One XL base Navcore (operating system) is an ancient 8.010, but that doesn't matter as I have an SD slot which over-rides the boot sequence to allow me to run Rating: 5

The postcode has 7 digits so no spaces were needed. Really strange.

If it's TT not updating their data that's really poor and it sounds like there is no solution.
