Audible speed warnings on NC 9.510?
Hello friends,
I did a Google search as well as a search on the forum but so far everything has been depressing! Is there any way at all for my Tomtom XL335 running NC 9.510 to warn me when I exceed the sped limit?
I have moved to Tomtom from iGo and what I loved about iGo was that the lady would warn, rather scold me, whenever I exceeded the speed limit. Anyone who has been to NZ would know that they are VERY serious about their speed limits and I would love to have that feature on my Tomtom.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, @nyky.
I quickly read through the installation instructions specific to my device on the link you provided. So basically, these will be added as POIs? I am not quite certain how these speed alerts will function in real life conditions. I understand that I will need to enable the 'warn near poi' but how does that help?
What I want is that wnever I am over the specified speed limit for that road, I should be warned by my device simply saying 'You are over the speed limit'. And that should be the end of it. Now I understand also that you are trying to help me go around the Tomtom system since there is not built in feature (whiuch is a bummer) that does this.
Thanks! You're beautiful. Yes - you reading this! :-)

There is an inbuilt feature that does this: Change Preferences>Safety Preferences>Warn when driving faster than allowed>tick box>select an appropriate sound for the warning
You can also set a visual alert on the status bar if you look at the status bar preferences

That's strange because I have it on my Go 940 Live...my navcore is the official 9.510 but that shouldn't make any difference?
