newer tomtom home

​I bought a new laptop and want to install tomtom home and then change the "application.ini" file.
Now i see this is a completly different newer tomtom home.
Can i just use this one or do i need to change this tomtom home also with another patch/trick ?

i tried to download the older version of tomtom home, version 2.0.7.6.2056 but that isn't available anymore. The link in tread "TTHome trying to force a navcore update"

Het is inderdaad koud, but I rarely use Home, it is true that I hardly have any old appliances anymore and I certainly don't use it for a patch

I use it often, sometimes they are very old. I find TomTom home easy to use when the navcore needs to be updated.
TomTom Home will put the correct navcore on the device, without me having to puzzle wich navcore needs to be installed.

PS that 9.702 is really to enable the Truck map to run on a NAV2 device and there's really no advantage of using that if you're not a trucker.
