GO 920 touch screen not working
I have not used my GO 920 for about 4 weeks when it was working fine. It boots up but when it gets to the legal info screen where you have to press "I agree" nothing happens when I press it. It starts up in the background with the last loaded destination. Is there anyway this can be fixed?

Just before you try that run a business card or similar under the screen bezel all the way round just in case it's just a speck or dust and, of course, make sure it's been on charge for a couple of hours as the battery will drain if not used (even when switched off) and/or try a paperclip reset/power button held in till you see the dos-type screen

Tried both your suggestions Biggerdave but unfortunately still no luck.
I will try the recalibrate way when I get chance. Does seem strange though why it has just done this when it was fine before.

How about opening TTHome, connecting the device to the PC via USB and THEN switching it on; maybe you'll successfully get the "do you want to connect to the PC" then you could try clearflash etc as I can't believe the calibration has gone off just cos it was in a drawer somewhere.

Hi Biggerdave thanks for your suggestion. I did eventually manage to get the device to connect to my PC. I cannot do it the normal way as I cannot press YEs when it says "Do you want to connect to PC".
I had to start it and hold the buuton down to get the device info screen up then put it back on its stand and press the power button again. I did the clearflash 3 time but still no joy.
I then installed the folders as per Ornis guide for the recalibration but as I then cannot start the tomtom up as I cannot get past the "I agree" screen! Looks like I am snookered unless you or anybody has any other ideas?

Last thought from me (for tonight at least), as suggested by baeta above, if you can get connected to your PC you could try (in TTHome) Change Preferences/Operate left-handed which theoretically would move the "agree" button to the left which would prove one way or another that the calibration is out?

Another thought; have you tried copying everything across to an SD card then booting up with that inserted? May not help but worth a try?
And another thought although I don't normally recommend it is to (after a full PC backup) reformat the internal & let TTHome add everything back in from scratch? Desperate times call for desperate measures!

Well Biggerdave just an update, I spent most of last night on the PC. I managed to format tge tomtom and tried to let tomtom home reinstall everything but it only managed to update to application 8.35 then said there were no further updates. So I then put everything back from my backup.
I managed to switch to left hand menu but still no joy. I can use operate my Go from tomtom home but fir some reason it gets as far as select your map and for all 3 maps I have on it says I cannot use this map with this device. All I did was reinstall what was on!
Now when I dusconnect from tomtom home I am asked to select the language but cannot go any further as the touch screen is not responding.
I really think there is nothing else I can try?
