How Can I Place Multiple Maps Inside Same Large Size SD Card ?
Hi, How To Place Multiple Maps Inside Same Large SDHC Card ?
I have a 32GB SDHC card.
I want to place 4 different maps, into it.
So that, different maps can be used on different locations.
My device TomTom GO 50 S now have (built-in with) this map:
USA Canada and Mexico v960.7053 (released 10/2015)
After quick-formating (FAT32) the SD card on Windows-10 laptop,
should i place these map FOLDERS/DIRECTORIES like this. inside the SD card ?
/Western_USA_and_Canada_965_7284
/Southern_US_and_Mexico_965_7283
/Eastern_US_and_Canada_965_7283
/USA_Canada_and_Mexico_965.7250
do i need to modify any further files or folders ? do i need to move some file from each Map into the "root" / area of the SD card ?
Will TomTom GPS unit recognize such arrangements ? will it show different options for loading different maps ? Will GPS unit work ?
Thanks in advance to those users, who will provide helpful pointers/suggestions.
EDIT:
TomTom asked to format the SD card, i selected "No".
TomTom device did not show choice of maps inside: Menu > Settings > Maps.
Except the default built-in Map (which is inside its internal storage: USA Canada and Mexico 960.7053), which it came with.
EDIT:
And Menu > Settings > System > About: showing Free Space: 443 MB Internal memory, 28.71 GB Memory card.mors3d Reviewed by mors3d on . How Can I Place Multiple Maps Inside Same Large Size SD Card ?
