Exactly WHICH device are we talking about trying to add maps to here? A GO 720 (as stated in post #3) or something entirely different (as stated in post #10)?

On the sd card there is the following
mobile navigator
uk and Ireland maps
Voices
and now fast activate which when I click on it states files missing as in post 8
Within the mobile navigator is a ttnavaigator bif file with the info in post 10 in it.
Post 3 shows the initial info using fastactivate device information but which I cant find any more.
ttnavigator.bif:
DeviceName=CUSTOM INFORMATION

ApplicationVersion=7910
ApplicationBuildNumber=9185
Map(s):
Storage:

So it sounds like you have a GO 720 and a totally separate nothing-to-do-with SD card from another device.
If that IS the case then, after a windows backup of the card, delete everything, copy across the ttgo.bif from your 720 plus the new map folder & F/A and try that
Drink? too bloody late now!

Did you have a original TT-device (like Go720) or have you a Win-CE-PDA with an old TomTom7-NC (ApplicationVersion=7910)???
If you have the last, only the New_Zealand 940_5966 is able to run on this old 7-NC. No newer map aviable.
You have to activate the card as for WinCE-devices.

hello Alfred thanks for your help.
Tom tom version is the 7910 with the 5966 maps.
The problem I have now is that all my original UK and Ireland and USA maps now do not work at all/
The maps were in separate sd cards.
Which ever map be it usa,Uk or the New Zealand ones give the message
Tom Tom Navigator.
Unable to start
Not enough memory is available.. Message
