    Favourites and the home location are not stored in the maps folder. They are in \loopdir\loopback.ex3, but my experience says you normally (always?) lose your home setting. I used to manipulate the old and new loopback.ex3 files but I've decided it is not worth the effort. it is worth it if you lose your favourites, but not just for home. Now I just reset Home from Recent Destinations.
