Thanks for the effort Schwan.
Let us know if the Android maps work for you dkcrush. They've been working great for me thus far.
I have updated the instructions to reflect the use of Android maps and to make sure people keep their voice recognition folders.

I will let you know as soon as I can find a decent download link. The forum ones aren't very good - either have to pay or it takes forever to download.

Hi,
Thanks for all tips in this thread. Great forum!
I'm new to Tomtom and Mazda. So far I have installed the patched navcore by Simba and Europe android maps 945.6256. It seemed to work perfectly fine until I was going to plan a route and it hanged and rebooted itself. I figured out if I turned off "IQ routes" it worked. Has anyone else had similar issues or should it work?
Thanks

No reboots, but the route planing was working really wrong for me (regardless of IQ routes) - i.e. suggesting some crazy detours etc, as if not all the roads were connected (for the lack of better term). The maps were Europe 940 or 94something

I completely forgot how awful download speeds are from some of these file host when you don't have a premium account. I personally use a multi-host downloader called "" it's cheap and let's me download files from different places easier (and often faster) than torrents. If you tell me the map you want I may be able to mirror it for you to a place that has decent download speeds for free.
Yea before I tried the Android maps my routes were crazy. Unfortunately I do not drive to unknown far away places enough to be sure whether or not the android maps have their own issues. If you try them they might work better for you.
