Why don't you use a cardreader? Format your SD-Card FAT32 (slow) and
copy the (activated) map to it, put the sd-card in the device, give a 15 second
paperclip reset and start the device.
On my GO 730 I copy all files from internal to a 4Gb Sandisk Extreme Class-6
sd-card and after that I format the internal FAT32 and boot/run all files from sd-card.
It works fine without a problem.
What bootloader version runs on your device?

Take care, that some SD cards are crappy manufactured and windows/mac doesn't format whith SD compliance necessary.
If you got whith problems with SD I recommend to use (available for windows and mac)
Also depending of your SD maybe you will get a better performance formatting it in FAT16 or even FAT12 than FAT32... there are a lot of studies around the net...

Thank you for your prompt response.
The bootloader is 5.5120.
I formatted the sd card and restore Fat 32 slow before, but always the same, to boot I have to restart it, if not start.
Thank you again.

.
Bootloader 5.5120 is original for the GO730 i think, nothing wrong with it.
Dit you run the "Clear Flash" tool?

Speech and knows nothing about the problema, if you do not want to help do not comment.
With clean install is not resolved, I have long been updating the GPS, tested with small internal memory map, also the problem is occurring with the internal memory.
I tried even with navcores patched with DSA tool, and still the same
What fool in this thread is your answer.
basflt, thanks for nothing.

If you still don't want to read the tutorials, what are you doing here when you're more or less already an expert ?
That you need to reset everytime the GO models is a wellknown problem.
Try to live with it as some doctors say, or buy another model which don't have that issue.
Take it or leave it, but don't abuse other members, please.
