    Admin note:- As the previous thread ran to over 40 pages spanning 12 years it's time to create a new thread here which should be used for general queries regarding the current (or last few releases) of maps and meta codes which could not be resolved by using the "search" function around the forum.

    I see the maps are not in ttpkg format. How i can convert them?

    very easy, use TTActivator to download your map.
    Link URL:
    Only the registered members can see the Link URLs. Please Login OR Register.

    On the dowload tab, uncheck the auto-extract box.
    Then the result will be a ttpkg-file for nav3 and higher, a zip-file for nav1 and nav2

    Default how to install?

    Hello. I downloaded map in .rar format, not .ttpkg. How to install it on TT?

    A bit of a bummer, seems TT are ending map support early. I will definitely not buy another so time to use the great 'educational' bits and pieces on the forum again.

    Nothing new imlost, just a bump from them trying to sell you (and many of us) new devices as they are phasing out support (End-of-Life) many older devices apparently incl some of their newer NAV4's but all the time we have our experts here we should be good to go

    Seems that the email regarding my discontinued model was sent in error by TT, not good PR sending that email out to thousands of people. They have apologized though.

    I think you should ask for, and they agree, to free lifetime maps (until it really is EoL'd by them) Worth a try?

    I would like to point out that the Nav4 map "Europe_TRUCK_1130_12325" downloaded via TTActivator does not work: it is not recognized, even with the *.dct file generated from the meta "60 42 82 80 C1 35 DD 86 E8 3D 8C 1C 17 97 67 4C Europe_TRUCK-104144.meta ; Europe TRUCK 1130.12325". On the other hand, the map "Europe_HM_TRUCK_1130_12322" (meta "7C E8 A9 18 82 D1 62 17 01 D4 6E 86 31 F7 47 A2 Europe_HM_TRUCK-104141.meta; Europe_HM_TRUCK 1130.12322") works perfectly.
