    The simple answer is; there is no user that can (and do) buy a new nav2 map and is experienced enough to create the meta-code.
    Someone that has such a map and want help, can always PM me.
    By the way; all nav3 maps will work on nav2 devices with navcore 9.xxxx

    What's the sense of TT to continue develop and release new map for NAV2 and Navcore 7.xx/8.xx/9.xx (you can download it by TT also now via TTActivator) if TT don't sell it?

    The problem are regarding Navcore 7.xx and 8.xx (ex. Carminat) devices that cannot use Nav3 map.

    If is not possible to buy maps for navcore 7.xx/8.xx / 9.xx how someone get meta code for Navcore 9.xx devices (map 1120.12089 Central Europe / South Europe)?
    It happened also for map 1115 for same map types (Europe Central / Europe South).

    I think there were still users who could buy maps before Tomtom declared them EOL. Until then (I think 4 quarters), TT has to make these maps available. The older versions, in order to be able to restore user backups, must remain on the TT server. Maybe there is also a bug at TT that you can still buy cards when 3/4 of the EOL period has passed in which I bought a card ...who knows .. Translate with deepl.com/translator

    And...., maby the new nav2 maps are only copies of the old ones with a new map-version-number and build-number.

    Back in the days TT sold some of the last NAV2 devices with lifetime maps. Some of us have those particular devices, and I assume the "lifetime" is not over yet and they are still able to download new maps into them. Otherwise there would be no metas for any 1120 NAV2 maps because the "back door" is now closed.

    Unfortunately TT's interpretation of "lifetime" is only until THEY decide they no longer want to support older devices to try to encourage people to buy newer models like the NAV4/5/6's (or they can rely on their smartphones etc which seems to be the way many are going now)

    I can agree with you if we talk about eletronic device as PDA or mobile.

    User of Carnminat (not Live) cannot change the device/navcore and for these users no option to get a new map (probably can only pay for it if the map is availble for the sell).

    Thanks for the patch.

    Using TomTom Home patched for users that have a Lifetime map option I believe that cannot download the map.
    Is it right?
