.rpf is an raster image file extension
Tomtom use it for a new type of POI , ; " content rich POI " is what they call it
it works by default on supported devices
for older devices is the .bmpbasflt Reviewed by basflt on . General map discussions here (NO REQUESTS!) Europe 885-4008 and W&CE 885-4009 work great on my 910 (9.066). When navigating, the cursor now appears to be accurately positioned at junctions and speed limit signs when a change of limit is shown. Rating: 5

Ahhh. That explains why i cannot get my UK ROI 890.4222 to run even though I have a .dct in the map folder on my Go 300 running NC 8.204.
I thought that there must be a compatability problem as I have done this so many times but I couldn't find the compatability chart to check.
Regards

Hello, new here... i am going to try Car Navigation:Best NC available is the brandnew NC 9.430.
(Birthday = Thursday 22 March 2012)
i have a One XL, i am not sure which map to use. I do not believe it has a microphone, i read this in the post
()
If your device doesn't have a microphone,
- remove folder "ASR"
- don't use an ASR/CSPEECH enabled map
So im honestly not really sure what map to use... i am guessing just one that doesn't include the ASR in it correct?
So can i use???
4222, 4247____HNR for NC 9
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

maybe uploaders should tell us which navcore is compatible with which map so we dont waste bandwidth trying to install maps which dont work!!
