    As many of you probably know, the new 890 maps are due out in the next few weeks so we've already started some "890" stickies in keen anticipation of their release.
    Hopefully our regular contributors/sharers/uploaders will get these posted (hopefully here first) as soon as they do become available so, once again, we remain the first forum to have all the available maps (and thanks in anticipation to you all too)

    Default TT Home Maps

    Any else getting there are new version of your map in tt home main page, so i clicked maps then australia says there is 0 updates ??

    No, I think this is just them getting prepared for the 890's which will be any day now (fingers crossed)

    Maybe they're just reducing the number of clones and using "just" Europe instead of Europe, Europe_2GB, WCE, WCE_2GB

    That's a bummer; my GO910 always wants to d/l an old W&CE map when I don't have one, only Europe (which seems a clone when HNR is not present, 885.4008 and 4009 for HNR) on the device.
    In the past, someone posted 'how to change E to W&CE' but I didn't keep the instructions - something to do with editing the .pna and changing the Folder/File names? And also the build?

    If I can't spoof 890 Europe to W&CE I'll leave the 885 version on, I've enough space.
    If I can, I'll post how.

    Changing/editing map names etc of clones is only needed IF some maps are not available so hopefully we'll have them all soon anyway (as we do the 885's).
    The roads detail will be the same whichever clone you use so shouldn't be a problem using whichever (navcore-compatible) one you want.

    I'm thinking this is a TT con trick!
    Only today has TTHome told me (top/right red button) "New versions of your map are available" and when you click on that it says "0 updates to your map since yours was released" but then tries to encourage you to buy a 12 month update service (which I already have). If I didn't already have this then the 1st map I'd be offered would be the still-current 885..........!
