TomTom GO Mobile [v1.17.1 build 2121 patched by DFoX Team URET]

Cannot download new 1000 version map. Get error:
"Cannot list maps.
Check your WiFi connection and try again"

What should I do?

WiFi is working normal.
Old map 995.8490 still works without problems.

Are you Use the "Fixed" Version....like in #53 ?

I re-installed everything using post #53 apk,
followed instruction to save initial: com.tomtom.gplay.navapp folder
That folder, in my Android 5, version could be found here:
storage\sdcard0\Android\data
Put is back and I could download version 1000 map
App works fine.

I am with Galaxy S8, and I tried all possible versions of installation listed in the tread, but I get all the time "Unable to show maps. Check your internet connection and try again"

Any suggestion what might be wrong?

1 - have you installed *.apk from PlayMarket officially?
2 - after that - did you manage to upload any map? Can you operate it (with 75km limitation)?

I did follow the instructions from most of the posts.

1 I uninstalled all app
2 Installed from GS, till the moment I had the option to download maps. I did not download maps.
3 I did rename the file that I had to rename.
4 I did uninstall from the app manager.
5 Installed the patched file.
6 Restarted the phone and I got the message of Unable to show Maps. Check internet connection. I did check the LTE and Wifi both of them the same.

I did have 1.16 before and it was operating fine, but one day it stop showing traffic. Ever since I did try to load the 1.17 version and still no luck. Either get to 1% or no connection.

To answer to your question, about the 75km. No I do not have it if I just install from GS.

Any solution for my case?

I did not clear the app, I just opened the file manager and renamed the file, but I forgot to mention it in my previous post.

1 - Try to follow all steps just as it in instruction (copy, not just rename).
2 - if not success - try pass steps #4, install patched app without uninstalling official version.

I did try, but the patch was not able to install over the GS version. Also I tried to copy and paste back the file, but no success. I guess I have to wait for the next version TomTom comes up, and may be it will be good. BTW, I did try the 1.16, and it is still the same thing.

I bought Sygic, because it was at a very attractive price, but the routing engine is nowhere any good as the TomTom one.
