@Nostrum
whenever you try to activate anything to Android - you should know - maps are activated to DeviceUniqueID=, which is specific to particular MAP (not device itself). So, try to to create *.dct accordingly to DUID of your map. O the other hand - where are you going to put files of this voice? OK, there folder "voices" - there we can see only "common voices" - put all voice files + your *.dct there - maybe you will be lucky guy... (though there no any *.dct file, but - good luck!)rusigor Reviewed by rusigor on . TomTom Premium Voice Activation I'm running the patched TomTom v.1.4 app with US & Canada 995.8508 maps and it works just fine on my un-rooted Atoto Android 4.4.2 automotive head unit. The application is running on the external SD card. I can remove the SD card but the unit obviously cannot be connected to a PC. I'd like to add premium voices like SpongeBob and Homer Simpson etc. I've read a couple tutorials on how to use FastActivate to generate a .DCT file and it makes no sense to me. Could someone please explain Rating: 5

Yes, I used the unique ID for the US_Canada maps which is AK4ZE 6SGNN. Generated .dct files with FastActivate and placed them in the voice folder. Still not working. I can select them but no sound. I also tried changing the number of the premium voices to match existing voices in the folder. Then replaced the existing voices. I can select them again but they have no sound.
Perhaps the premium voice files are not compatible with Android? Not much information on using them with Android.
I really miss SpongeBob.
