Default Add own POI and their icons to Go-App

If you simply add your own POIs and their icons as pair of files *.ov2 / *.bmp (like known from your TomTom-PNA) to the folder "Android / data / com.tomtom.gplay.navapp / files / files / personal / pois" in the Go-App, you afterwards see these POIs under "My places" and they can selected as a target for navigation, but the icons are not displayed in these listings or on the map.
I have seen in another forum (now there deleted after "forum crash") on how to display POI icons in the Go-App, both in "My Places" after tapping the corresponding entry as well as later on the map:
Convert the on your PNA possibly already existing icons (usually stored on PNA in size 22x22 pixels and as * .bmp) or icons from other sources or your own creatings with a suitable program (eg. irfanView) in the new size 44x44 pixels and store it as file-format *.png (Recommended settings 8 BPP / 256 colors and compression level "5").

Important: In this case, both the file name of the icon and also the extension "png" should be written lowercase and no mutated vowels (*) should be used, eg. the german example "sehenswuerdigkeiten.png" instead of "sehenswürdigkeiten.PNG". (*) Also no letters with accents, tilde ect., as they occur in many languages (Portuguese / Spanish / French / Romanian, etc.)
The POI files and their extension "ov2" may continue to be capitalized, or if they already exist in the corresponding folder (in case of problems with the displaying, testing also lowercase). However, here again without mutated vowels, otherwise it does not work afterwards. Change, if mutated vowels in the file name present.
The changed icons in png-format copy into the (new created) folder "Android / data / com.tomtom.gplay.navapp / files / files / personal / pois / ov2_icons / ldpi".
And now they are displayed in the listings in "My Places" (Example Turkish holiday points) and as well as on the map (Example LPG-stations):
