Therefore this car navigation system will not receive any other map updates?
Since it is using the same maps release by HERE, I wonder if there any other ways of updating those maps from Renault or Infinity, thanks.

I found this in the Suzuki navigation map. Same scheme with cryptnav library, sdx_meta file, almost same files and necessary cid modification. In my opinion, the map files are the same as those of the nissan connect, but I don't know how it recognizes it.

Note: Connect 3 sd v7 have navigation software... if the car have a old version the messege to update pops up.

Unfortunately so far I have been buying the new Nissan maps from Here and I do not have the knowledge and hardware to change the CID and burn a SD card on my own.
I understand from Your post that Suzuki maps are CID protected as well, therefore I assume my last resource is to stop at Suzuki Service and ask if they can test their SD card in my Nissan before I buy it, but I am afraid that they will reply me that their cards are sealed and that they cannot open its package for me to test it in a competitive car...
