How to recall the Micom Manager of MediaNav Evolution 8.0.5 (9.1.1 Updated)
These days on the Russian site came out an article waiting to many: it was found ways to access from MediaNav Evolution to Micom Manager (if you remember, we had seen in the rear view camera activation phases of MediaNav Standard).
The access procedure does not require external software, but only a combination of pressed zones and entered codes .
But what is this mysterious tool?
It 'very useful for the' activation of many things , but you have to be careful, because if you do not know where to put your hands, you are likely to make some really great damage to our MediaNav ...
We can activate the rear camera and related guidelines, the TMC and the ' AHA , we can make the radio and audio test. In versions mounted on Renault can also manage the ECO mode (Dacia has failed to connect with the control unit about the data).
But now let's see how you get there: first, we must turn our MediaNav Evolution and take us on the screen showing the software version (Settings, you go to the second screen, the System Settings).
Once there, we will have to press in sequence these areas:
Once done, it will come out a new screen titled "Test Mode"
At this point we will have to follow these steps:
type 0362
Press OK
Delete with the button on the right
type 3748
Press OK
9.1.1 UPDATE
The access codes to Micom Manager for the new 9.1.1 version are:
type 2383
Press OK
Delete with the button on the right
type 3748
Press OK
At this point you will get the following screen
This is a very limited version of the Micom Manager: to unlock all the features, primarily the Micom Test , which is the real heart of this tool, you need to create an empty file named " mcmtest_activate.ini " (for version 9.1.1 the file must be named " mcmtest_activate_4medianav.ini ") keep it in the uSB key, to be inserted before entering the access codes. Without that file, at the opening of the Micom Manager you will always be shown and only the basic options.
Today, for example, while reviewing the panel to take pictures for the article, I found that the corresponding function key to AHA RADIO was configured so that disattivasse this function (in fact in the menu which lists the possible audio sources, that does not I had never seen her look): it was enough to press this button, the next reboot, not only appeared on the list, but also working well.
Another interesting thing you can do is go to the desktop of WinCE . The sequence of codes to use so it will be this:
type 0362
Press OK
Delete with the button on the right
type 6971
Press OK
9.1.1 UPDATE
The access codes WinCE Desktop for the new 9.1.1 version are:
type 2383
Press OK
Delete with the button on the right
type 9065
Press OK
We will achieve this.
From the "My Device" will arrive at this screen, which is essentially a file manager.
I thank Gianluca bows , fond of "cousin" with the Clio IV and known co-programmer of the now MediaNav Plus (by the way ... in a few days I will introduce version 3.0), for the tip!
Also, thanks to Gianluca, the next item on the Micom Manager will focus on the explanation of the various keys found in the Micom Test page, so be aware and avoid running into errors.

Hello, I would appreciate it very much if you would help me .
The maps on my Renault Media Nav Evolution are from 2013.Q4 (OS 9.1.1). How can I update them without having to buy them?
Thank you in advance.

@Phoenix121 there are options also to update maps free in MediaNav.
You have to unlock the navigation and fingerprint, then with Total Commander you can update the maps as you want.

@nyky
Now I read once again information from first post and I observed something which I tink can make problems.
On MN2 Evolution from version 6.0.4 up is not possible to activate rear camera from MICOM just setting buttons there, or if you do it will not be the best set and will make problems.
On MN1 Standard also I belive till 4.0.6.
On MN3 Evolution 2.0 yes can be done from MICOM.
