Firmwares SMEG ,SMEG PLUS ,SMEG+IV2

I need some tips... 308 from 2014.
I think someone installed a smeg+ with 4.1 firmware on this car.
When I push navigation it hangs on the navigation module is loading...
Can I try to update the firmware to 5.43 to fix the problem?
