I got it for free in a bag of GPS stuff. The files and folders on the 2 gig NAND Flash were corrupted. Nothing could be deleted. I was just poking around with it again after a long time, using GPS Menu loaded off a 4 gig SD and found I could dismount and format it with Storage Manager.

Now I should be able to copy iGO or some other WinCE 5.0 compatible nav software onto it and put maps on SD like I did ages ago with my first GPS, a RightWay RW200. That one I was poking around on and launched an app with two buttons, labeled in Chinese. So I poked one and... found the built in CoPilot and maps erased. Oops.

That had me figuring out how to install iGO on the internal storage. The PC*Miler looks like it operates essentially identically to the RightWay. The user changeable Navigation shortcut is how I make these run GPS Menu.

Any way to reinstall CoPilot on a PC*Miler 430?

But for the sake of having it launch the software that's named on the boot screen, putting CoPilot back on it would be the thing to do.
