Unknown GPS Hardware - Newbie Needs Help
Hi All! I live in Canada and just bought a new used VW with some unknown infotainment system. 99% sure it is a so called "Chinese version" versus an OEM deck.
That said, it actually has a wiring diagram in russian that I saw when I pulled the deck out.
Anyway - it would be great to know what maps it takes, as it is not working now.
In a perfect world I would like to flash the entire system first - to a more updated interface (if that exists).
The only information I can really provide is a picture of what I see when I try to pull up system information.
The most I was able to find online was a site in russian (and i cant read russian) and on that site there was something about navteq.
I don't actually know if navteq maps will work. Anyway here it goes:

No I do not think it is a Tom Tom. I think it is an aftermarket infotainment system that is meant to look like an oem vw system. I have no idea what brand it is.
