Thank you for accepting me into the group.

As per the title, I am having some issues with my Map Pilot system. I have email Becker, but I don't have much hope they will offer me much support.

This relates to a new (to me) 2012 C Class Mercedes

To summarise:

• The unit previously would not initiate in the car
• I have since connected it to Content Manager
• I have now uploaded the latest software to it and the European maps I purchased from Becker last night
• The car now recognises the Map Pilot Unit and maps
• However, there is very limited storage space on the unit’s flash drive, so I can only install Great Britain maps
• The unit’s flash drive is just over 7 gig in size, and now only has 564 meg left, so I cannot install France, as an example

• According to Content Manager, the software and maps only use about 30% of the drive, with the remainder being “other” (is this firmware?)
• I have put in a blank formatted (FAT32) SD card, but it is not recognised by Content Manager to transfer any content to.
• Content Manager will not let me back up my data, saying “Media is of improper type”

Perhaps I am asking too much, but I would have thought, at least I could back up my data.
