Using maps on Flash + SD Card for iGO8 and Primo

well my igo says there is no maps (could not find any maps), i installed igo in internal memory, created folder addons/map on SD card

Sometime you don't have enough space for iGO8 map/poi/buildings files so you might need to split the maps and use both internal memory and a memory card . For iGO8 or iGO Primo to use those two location you must edit SYS.TXT like this : [folders] has_secondary_root=1 secondary_root="addons" Then you may have some maps and poi + software on flash ( internal memory ) and the rest of the maps/poi on SD Card were you create the folders : Rating: 5
