You will not get much help from Garmin or Honda, this has been reported extensively on many Honda forums.
To get help you will need to answer the questions asked here.
From your post it turns out you have Honda Goldwing 1800 2015 model, was this one imported from the US to Europe ?
You will most probably have to choose a region, as Europe maps have out grown even the 4Gb file limit.
Before you used the OSM what was the file structure of the SD card ,the existing map would tell us NT or NTU did you make a back up ?Garmin_Nuvi Reviewed by Garmin_Nuvi on . Honda Goldwing I am sorry for my stupid question. I am beginer. Several years ago I bought new Honda Goldwing 1800 motorcycle with internal navi of Garmin. But Honda never upgraded maps for Europe. Only for USA. That is why all owners of this EU motorcycles have not new maps. This forum gives me big chance to get map of all Europe included Turkey. My question is: If I download file City_Navigator_Europe_NTU_2023_10_Unlocked.gmap, will I get one file gmasupp.img? Yes, you are right. All question to Honda and Garmin are without answer.
I have bought it in Europe from Honda in 2015. The navi system is the same as in Goldwing from USA. My girlfriend bought it from USA and I loaded maps to her navigation.The navi system accepted more than 4GB of maps. In this time I have 3,7GB with no problem. The 32 GB navi not accepted.
As I wrote. Several years I downloaded maps from garminopenstreetmap.nl. Ii was without problem. I am sorry I do not know difference between NT and NTU.
I would like send you printscreen of original Honda SD with name of files. I cannot add picture to my post.
