    Default What GPS?

    Hi i am not good in gps brand and i want you ask what gps navigation around 50-80 euro yo buy, i have one old old old tomtom and now i think for new but i am bot sure that is good, igo, tomtom or sygic ?Sygic i think is only mobile or not ? Thx you.

    Before you throw your TomTom away and buy another SatNav, have a good read/search around here as ALL the older (and many of the much newer) devices can be hacked/cracked and you can add virtually any map (USA I guess) plus speedcams/voices/poi's etc ALL FOR FREE!

    I have been read and get help and thx for that but the device is super slow and 11 year old and drive me crazy when search 5-10 min gps signal.

    What GPS?
    I don't think software slows down with age. More like you just need a newer/later bootloader and probably the latest appropriate navcore etc (and maybe remove all/any POI's etc you don't want or need) and also run clearflash.exe 3 times allowing a boot between each run
    I don't think a newer device gets a sat fix any faster, that's normally down to geographical location/atmospherics etc rather than the device itself
