Beginners use Garmin bluechart

I have an old garmin gps for the boat. Have downloaded a file with bluechart for stockholm, think it is g2.

The file says that I should just put the .img file under a folder called garmin on an sd card and put it in the navigator

Have done it but my gps does not even read the sim card, nothing happens. Anyone have a tip on how I can make the map work?
