    I want to share on my side how to go into boot menu on a Garmin DriveSmart65
    1. Hold the power botom + upper left corner 1 to 2 seconds then release the power bottom while holding the upper left corner and press power and release then you will go to this boot menu screen.

    BOOT MENU:
    ----> Normal Boot
    Clear User Nonvol
    Recover from Software Failure
    [dev] U-boot Console (Boot Loader)

    Press power to navigate
    press power long to enter

    You can safely use Garmin Express to download the Drive 52 Firmware, no operation is possible on these devices

    The Firmware NOT available on the network, it can only be downloaded with Garmin Express.
    If you are unable to connect the device to the G.E. you have to wait for a user to be able to post it
    As an alternative you can copy the GarminDevice.xml File of the Device to a microSD card using a Boot Command:
    1. Take a microSD (4 GB is sufficiet) formatted in FAT32
    2. Create the following folder structure
      SD root:\Garmin\Updater\NNNN (where NNNN = HWID of your Device)
    3. Create a simple text file named as Update.txt with the following row of text
      copy,0:/Garmin/GarminDevice.xml,2:/GarminDevice.xml
    4. Insert SD in Device and reboot
    5. After reboot you will find the File GarminDevice.xml inside the SD root
