I recently picked up an Android Based Garmin Monterra, but it will not power up past the bootup cycle. I can recognize it as a MTP File on my PC but I'm not seeing the Operating System or any other data just one empty folder that only contains about 800mb of unknown data. I'm thinking maybe it is missing the original software and I can't get it from Garmin.....they just say it's no longer supported. Gamin Express nor Basecamp can see the unit on my PC either. But, sometimes on my laptop it will show up in Garmin Express as a "new device" and then "Unknown Charts" when selected.

Any ideas? Anybody have the original operating system that could be reinstalled?
