I am the author of ImgTool and I don't understand why more and more anti-virus are detecting something on virustotal.com ....
Every time I add new features or simply new lines in the code, the number of detections increases (now 16 out of 61!) ...
But I can certify that ImgTool does not contain any virus

I'm sure most that would need to use ImgTool understand that these self appointed guardians of our "safety" have no interest in anything but dominance & self promotion.
AVG too
Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.

Apart from the fact that many Antiviruses, especially those of Microsoft origin, consider everything they do not know to be dangerous, I think it is the .zip extension that triggers the A.V.
Try compressing with WinRar (.rar extension).
Anyway, I suggest all to use a serious Antivirus/Antimalware software, like MalwareBytes

@furiani
the problem is that more and more antiviruses are finding false positives in Imgtool and I don't know what I could do ...

To @sherco40: If a .exe file is not signed, it got a higher chance to be detected as malicious. You can report false postive to each vendor of antivirus but it happens again some time later.

Hi Michel/sherco40,
I try to use winrar to compress it (with the .rar extension) and put it on Mega.
And the link seems to work, and easy to download with Firefox or Chrome.

ps: do you ride a Sherco motorbike ?
Kind regards,
Pilou
