Just been given an old StreetPilot c310 which appears to never even have existed on the garminn site so support is nil.
Maps on board are 15 years old. I got latest maps but no way could I transfer them even after trying for 2 full days. The maps for the machine are on a removable 250MB SDHC card. I put new maps on a micro SD with adaptor but cant be seen. I even copied an exact partition of original card to sd card but still cant be seen. Im running Win 8.1 Pro on my Desktop and also on my lappy. Garmin software is hit and miss and **** on both. I eventually slung it the nav in the dustbin after two days. On the third day I had an idea of installing Win7 and trying that. Long shot but it worked fine. Updated original card while holding my breath. Still wont read exact copy using sd card though. Not much room for maps with 250MB card though, managed to get England on it.
Nah then, does anyone know if this supports POI's like speedcams and where do they live. I cant access OS to view on machine, (dont know how) only the card which simply displays gmapsupp and gmapsupp.unl. No folders.
Also does anyone know if I buy a bigger SDHC card will it be seen or not. SD card is not.
