Firmware is identified by its HardWare IDentity not by the device name only.
Having many GUPDATE.GCD files without saving them when downloading them without an index, leaves only RGNTool to show the HWID but not in all cases.
What are you trying to achieve with these GUPDATE.GCD files

Normally you would use the device or clone device to download the Firmware needed that's why members are asked for their device HWID in the Universal Firmware Patcher for Protected Garmin Devices thread as all current firmware is available.
Not all device names are shown in the Patcher
Not all HWID's are shown in RGN Tool or Patcher
