The combined files open for me in Mapsource but as soon as I select an area, I get an error and the application then closes. My last file version (2024.20) works fine. I tried downloading and unpacking again but to no avail. I figured I'd mention it in case anyone else has the same issue.

First, thank you so much. Looking for some help. I have an older GPS that will only read files less than 2gb. I am trying to download the American West map. After extraction, the file is over 2gb and won't read. How can I remove some of the states(anything east of Texas) to get under two gb? I tried downloading Mapsource but that doesn't seem to work. So sorry, very new and inexperienced.

Same issue, did it several times, with different unzipping softwares, wirth UnLock MapSource.exe but the same result...

Did you read Post #25
If the above does not work delete the gmap folder you downloaded before and
Try installing this Unlocked version to your PC using the Microsoft Installer (MSI) when asked for the path write C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps
Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.
