MapSource & BaseCamp are 2 tools to create custom maps sets, there is no automatic option to select.

Even buying Garmin Maps does not give you the features you would get with OTR 700 unit sold in North America.
I don't know your situation but if you intended to use this for trucking I would consider selling it on-line in Europe & buying a used Dezl/OTR unit for N. America it would most probably be a more cost effected option than for your Europe LGV version 700.
If paying is the issue you could use 1 of the many Open Source Maps

Hi , first of all thank you for all support and your time to explain to everyone at the forum.
I'm in trouble with a Dodge Journey 2012 with Garmin navigation system CTP12 v4.14.
I live in Canada and I always use your "Canada and Border States" map.
In this new 2024.20 NA map post, there are no Regional Maps so I decided to create my own "Canada and Border States 2024.20" map with MapInstall.
Everything goes fine untill I try to install them in the car. It gives me "The map update provided is not compatible with your navigation system" message all time.
Why your reginal maps in all before posts went smoothly and those created with Mapsource or Mapinstall don't work in this RB5 8.4N Uconnect systems?

Thanks again for the great upload/links for CN North America NT 2024.20. For some reason this version does not appear to be available to me on Garmin Express.
Does anyone perhaps have available a copy of the ASR1 files.

Request for USA West Coast Map - Nuvi 265W
Hi I have an old nuvi and I'm trying to find a recent map that I can use please as I've doing a Mid to West Coast road trip.
I have looked at some of the links on here but they are all dead.
The maximum my device can take is a 4Gig file as well so i need something under that.
Ideally I'm just looking for a file that I can drop onto my mem card.

Apologizes if this has been asked and answered recently. I have an older 2009 Goldwing. and a Etrex Venture I updated to 2022.25 and have street names, but later maps have names B... S... and so on.
I think that is the last map I can go to. Has this been fixed or is that it for these older units?
