Garmin "Can't Authenticate Maps" - Topo France V6 PRO on Garmin Fenix 5X plus
Hi,
I have a Garmin Fenix 5X plus watch.
I have the "Garmin Topo France v6 Pro Entire Country + Territories (DOM-TOM)" mapping unlocked but the watch tells me "Can't Authenticate Maps".
Do I need to patch the watch firmware?

I've a 5X+, haven't tried that map specifically but generally speaking needs to be patched for most maps or will complain thus. It patches fine.
Edit: BTW as you're already on latest 1930 you will need to increment the patched version by at least 1 for it to be seen as a later version if you want it to be re-installed.Last edited by Bushwalker8; 31st October 2023 at 05:13 PM.
